The Brenta Riviera is located near Venice and is characterized by a green and lush landscape. The river Brenta was, especially during the eighteenth century, the main course between the Venice lagoon and the hinterland. For this reason, the Brenta Riviera is populated by sumptuous villas, belonging to noble Venetian families. At first, Villa Foscari “La Malcontenta”, designed by Andrea Palladio and located in the homonym city of Malcontenta. In the city of Mira, on the other hand, you can visit Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari richly frescoed, Villa Barchessa Valmarana, located on the opposite shore and Villa Barchessa Alessandri, famous for the elegant sitting room of parties. At Stra you can visit the wonderful Villa Pisani, the largest and most famous building of the entire Riviera.
